Introduction
The embankment improvement project on the drainage channel at Lane 540, Section 1, Shenlin Road, Daya District, employed gravity retaining walls and aesthetically designed templates. These stone-like templates replaced the previous smooth concrete surfaces, creating ecological spaces for flora and fauna and enhancing the green environment. The unsealed design replaced the hard concrete channel bottom, increasing vegetation coverage and improving the green landscape. It facilitates rainwater infiltration and promotes longitudinal ecological corridors with green materials. Ecological steps are installed to allow aquatic organisms to return, enhancing lateral ecological corridors and fostering biodiversity. This approach aims to achieve the functions of life, production, and ecology.
